2019 LOCATIONS -

these are some of my favorite spots to shoot that I've explored over the last 5 years. Have a look through & keep in mind which spots interest you the most!

Yellow Flower Fields - these are in bloom from early May to mid May & are a 20 minute drive from Ann Arbor. I'll need to scout these fields once I'm in Ann Arbor to make sure they're planted this year!

Huron River - these are by far my favorite spots & have flowers blooming anytime from late May to mid June.

Domino Farms - these are some great spots in and around Domino Farms. Lots of ponds, fences, and barns - a great location to stop on the way to the Botanical Gardens.

Kerrytown - always an amazing spot to add in. It's a classic Ann Arbor location with great light, interesting brick backgrounds, and tons of flowers.

Island Park - these are always some of my favorite shots. Great lighting, shallow water, and lots of room to explore the river and bridges nearby.

The Arboretum - one of the most special places for senior portraits in my opinion, I only shoot here during peony season (last week of May, first week of June).

The Farm - always a great spot to hit, this spot is about 30 minutes from Ann Arbor, but so worth the drive! Ponds, lakes, big old barns, horses and cows are all possible here!

Downtown - another classic Ann Arbor spot, I have a few favorite spots here on the West side of town.

Matthaei Botanical Gardens - about 15 minutes from town, this little haven is an amazing spot to end your session. I can't promise that wildflowers will be in bloom & they usually tend to peak in early August if they bloom at all, so if these flowers are a must for you, let me know and I'll try and work out a time for you in August.

University of Michigan - there are some great spots on campus that I love to use. Last year, the Law Quad was closed but it's reopened and will definitely be a great option for anyone who wants a classic U of M location.

Lake Michigan - undoubtedly, this is my favorite spot x1000. I shoot in a variety of spots along the Western and Eastern coasts of Michigan, and everything about these places is magic. The light, the colors, the experience, the wind; it's all magic and I wish I could bring every senior to these spots. If you're really interested, let me know and we can get to planning something.
