Last year...
Amidst various stresses of Junior year, I found myself in the Yourist Pottery studio in downtown Ann Arbor, centering a mound of clay in an attempt to center my life along with it. After long nights of homework + long days of school, finding myself at the wheel was the perfect place to destress.
Since then, I've come a long way - working, watching, learning, and growing through the usage of clay as an art form. As a second semester senior I've experimented with plenty of techniques, but continually find myself coming back to botanical illustrations, simple vases, and cleanly thrown mugs.
Have a look through my website, and watch as I develop in Mr. Benedict's classroom. I'll be continually updating a blog page throughout the semester, where you can find my projects below.
